La suite de Vollard III

La Suite de Vollard are made on 4 prints, edición facsimil de original de la suite Vollard de Picasso of May 29, 1933. These four special limited prints by Museu d’Art espayol contemporani form the basis for a co-creation process with retroactive effect between Picasso and De Groot. A quest. An exciting journey with an already completed and existing work of art by the great master versus the additions with De Groot’s original and quirky handwriting, almost 100 years later. In a way, this breaks the illusion of time. The Great lines game that Picasso puts in these etchings carry enormous accuracy. Searching, rubbing, brushing, with the colorways of the Groot with collage techniques and added stitching lines through the lithograph, result in a harmonious alliance of abundance. Ultimately it pays homage to Picasso.
